Web Progressor
Progress Bar for World Wide Web

What's New?

Web Progressor for .NET 2.2 is released. The new release has:
  • A fully functional sample to show how a file-upload process can be handled with a progressor, including showing overall progress, bytes received and link speed, etc.
  • A label can now be used independent of progressor
Version 2.2 is fully compatible with the previous 2.x versions.

What is Web Progressor?

Web Progressor is a server-side component for easy creation and manipulation of client-side progress bars.

With Web Progressor, a lengthy server-side process, such as an e-commerce transaction or a file uploading process, can periodically report its working status to a web user. As the result, it will prevent the user from making duplicate data input or exiting from the site, as he/she may think the site is not responding.

Web Progressor is very easy to use and highly efficient in building responsive and informative web user interface.

What server platforms does Web Progressor support?

Web Progressor is currently available for Sun's JSP/Servlet, Microsoft .NET Framework and Active Server Pages.

What browsers does Web Progressor support?

All major browsers are supported by Web Progressor. It includes:
  • Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x and 6.x

  • Netscape 4.x, 6.x and 7.x

  • Opera 7.x
